Congratulations to everyone!
Besides voting, we discussed what we already have planned for the next meeting. Mike
Yoho is going to host the Oct. 19th meeting from 4:00-6:00. Mike is going to use the
meeting to introduce us to "CAD at MTS Systems" and he will include an overview
of both MicroStation and IDEAS, how they use and manage it. He will also provide the
details of how MTS uses MicroStation variables to manage MicroStation better in a large
scale setting. There will be a tour through the Manufacturing section of MTS.
MTS Systems Corporation is located at 14000 Technology Drive, Eden Prairie. They are
at Hwy. 5 & Mitchell Rd. Take Hwy. 62 west into Eden Prairie, take a left on to
Mitchell Rd., then a left on Technology Dr. MTS is on the left. The phone
number there is 612-937-4000 if you need any additional directions. There is a lot
of construction going on in that vicinity, so give yourself a little extra drive time if
you aren't familiar with the area.
11/16 - location still needs to be determined, 5:00-7:00, anyone interested?
12/14 - meeting to be held at TGI Friday's, 5875 Wayzata Blvd. (394 & Park Place exit,
the Friday's in front of OSM), 4:00-6:00. I will need RSVP's by Monday, the 13th in
order to make reservations for a large group. Topic to be determined.
1/18 - Scott Ornat with the City of Minnetonka will tentatively be hosting the Jan.
meeting scheduled from 5:00-7:00. Topic to be determined. Directions will be
included at a later date.
We hope to see everyone at the November meeting!
