It's come to our attention that there are some shady operators out on the internet that are offering to get you your own domain name for a rather substantial fee. We are here to warn you to stay away from those guys.

If your interested in having your own domain name, you need look no farther than right here. At Sonnek Communications we provide domain hosting services as an addition to our Professional Service. Here's what you get with Domain Hosting:

Your own domain name yourcompany.com
Unlimited email aliases. Anything addressed to user@yourcompany.com will be placed in your email box
Your own Web address http://www.yourcompany.com
A listing on the Sonnek Communications Business Yellow Pages.
If you wish, we can submit your web pages URL to all of the major search engines.

The cost is very reasonable too. There is a $50.00 setup charge, which does not include the $70.00 charged by the Internic (the Internet's ultimate authority and repository of Internet domains, http://www.internic.net *) plus $10.00 per month added to your Professional Service invoice. If you already have your own domain name, and you wish to have it hosted by Sonnek Communications, we can do that too. What your setup fee gets you is:

For a New Domain: $50.00 Setup

We will research your domain name, and make sure that it is available.
We will fill out the paper work for you, and send it in to the Internic.

For an Existing Domain: $50.00 Setup

We will fill out the paper work to transfer your domain from your existing host to Sonnek Communications.
We will help you send the transfer forms to Internic, including follow-up faxes and phone calls.

For both New and Existing Domains: $10.00 per month.

We will configure our servers to provide Name services
Email routing and
Web hosting for your new domain.

* do not confuse www.internic.net with www.internic.com. www.internic.net is the Internic, the official source for domain name registration. www.internic.com is an Austrailian company that will register your domain for you, at a substantial cost.
